Prof Hakeem Owolabi is Professor of Business and Innovation at the Greater Manchester Business School, University of Greater Manchester, and Director of the Centre for Digital Innovation and Governance (C-DIRA). He holds a PhD in Strategic Project Management from the University of the West of England and has more than a decade of experience in research, teaching and industry collaboration. His expertise includes digital innovation, responsible technology adoption and sustainable business models. Prof Owolabi has secured over £4.7 million in research funding from organisations including UKRI, UNEP and government bodies, delivering projects focused on digital innovation, renewable energy and sustainable development in the UK and Africa.
