High numbers of enquiries from prospective entrants to this year’s PFM Partnership Awards have been further endorsed by the publication of interview and case study articles featuring winners from the 2019 awards.

The case study on London Zoo, which won the Partners in SME Organisations trophy with its service provider Pareto FM, includes the thoughts of Zoological Society London (ZSL) principal lead estates and masterplanning Simon Francis and details of ambitious plans for the future.

Having made a positive start to reducing energy and carbon emissions through high levels of partnership working between ZSL and Pareto FM, these are set to be further extended this year as part of aims to reduce environmental impact further, especially if investigations into anaerobic digestion and solar PV prove fruitful.

PFM has also conducted an exclusive interview with winner of the Account Director of the Year 2019 award, Adam Davies, who is the account director for the Trinity Fire & Rescue (part of the Premier Technical Services Group) Heathrow Airport account.

Mr Davies impressed the judges with his comprehensive knowledge and can-do attitude, which is reflected in many of his comments when discussing the well-established relationship with Heathrow Airport.

Both of the these articles can help this year’s entrants in understanding the demanding criteria involved in receiving the approval of our independent judges and being identified as winners within the PFM Awards.

Further to the above, PFM has also visited the National Library of Scotland in Edinburgh to hear about the many successes that resulted in its entry with Craigalan Controls receiving both the winners’ trophy for the Partners in Smart FM category and also the Overall Winner award, due to its increasing international recognition for its many achievements.

The NLS case study article will be published online in the near future and in a future issue of PFM Magazine.
