TV personality and former England Rugby player Martin Bayfield has been confirmed as the presenter for this year’s PFM Partnership Awards.
Mr Bayfield will present this year’s PFM Awards on the evening of 4 November, which will once again take place at The Brewery in London’s Chiswell Street.
He was one of the tallest rugby players of his generation at 6ft 10in and won 31 England caps, as well as representing the British & Irish Lions in New Zealand in 1993.
After injury prematurely ended his career in 1998, Mr Bayfield made the transition to TV presenting and speaking at corporate events.
In addition to his rugby reporting and commentating for BBC Radio 5 Live and ITV, he has also been a regular presenter for the Crimewatch and presented the World’s Strongest Man programmes.
As well as serving as the body and stunt double of the Rubeus Hagrid character in the Harry Potter films, he has also appeared as a cyclops in the Wrath of the Titans.
Mr Bayfield’s charity work includes serving as the honorary president of the Wooden Spoon Society – which supports disadvantaged children and young people – and is vice president of the London Playing Fields Foundation.
In addition to the early confirmation of this year’s PFM Partnership Awards presenter, the PFM team is continuing to work on additional innovations that will be confirmed in the near future.
