Following conversations with those providing essential services during the ongoing Covid-19 outbreak, Partners in Healthcare has been included in this year’s PFM Partnership Awards.

The new category is designed to recognise the exemplary efforts of numerous FMs and their many service providers to help tackle the virus.

In addition to the many reports of the rapid creation of additional NHS facilities, there have been reports of assistance in numerous other areas of healthcare by FM service providers.

As a result, Partners in Healthcare has been added to provide recognition for those delivering high levels of professional services to healthcare facilities of all description, many of which have been supplied at short notice and completed in record time.

Entries to the PFM Partnership Awards are usually requested to ensure that the partnership in question has been in existence for at least one year, but this requirement has been waived for the new Healthcare category.

Although many service providers will have existing and long-running partnerships with the NHS and other healthcare facilities, those who have assisted with the more recent projects are also able to submit entries this year.

Entry forms and 250-word summaries of the entry are required to be emailed to by 13 May, with more time available to submit the full 1500-word submission and pictures and logos.

Further information on submitting entries is available here and anyone wishing to speak to PFM editor Dennis Flower is invited to email any questions or request a phone call or Microsoft Teams chat at any time.

Sponsorship opportunities for the new category and others are available and those requiring further details should email or
